Oct. 4 (Tues.) - “Meet & Greet”. An opportunity to learn more about SPEAC and to meet parents, school district administrators and educators. UD Twp. Bldg.

Oct. 19 (Weds.) - “Homework Help”. Learn strategies for getting through homework without tears from you or your child. MGES library

Nov. 7 (Mon.) - Family Night at Bounce U. Reservations required. For special needs children and siblings. Contact SPEAC for information.

Nov. 15 (Tues.) - “What’s Next After High School”. College planning for students with learning differences and transitioning from high school to the workforce. UDHS library

Dec. 14 (Weds.) - “Wilson Reading Program in UDSD and the Community”. Learn about how this program can help your child. MGES library

Jan. 25 (Weds.) - “ESY”. What parents need to know about the Extended School Year. UD Twp. Bldg.

Feb. 23 (Thurs.) - “Strategies to Help the ADD/ ADHD Learner”. UD Twp. Bldg.

Mar. 28 (Weds.) - “Helping your Child Make Friends”. Strategies for parents to help children who are socially awkward but yearn to find a friend in and out of school. MGES library

Apr. 24 (Tues.) - “Dual Exceptionality”. Addressing the needs of children who are both gifted and who have a disability. MGES library

May 30 (Weds.) - “Special Education Review”. Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Michael Pladus, will review district accomplishments and discuss plans for the upcoming year. MGES library
